About amiira.org
Building Stronger Futures. Empowering Communities. Creating Opportunity.
Every family deserves the opportunity to feel safe, welcomed, supported, and empowered to build a better future.
For many immigrants, newcomers, and low-income families in Minnesota, finding that opportunity can come with significant barriers—from navigating unfamiliar systems and accessing essential resources to finding employment, building financial stability, and creating strong connections within the community.
Amira Community Empowerment Organization exists to help change that.
We walk alongside individuals and families, connecting them with resources, knowledge, skills, and opportunities that can help them move forward with confidence. We believe empowerment begins when people have access to the tools they need—and when their voices, experiences, and strengths are valued.
